We are BIG chili eaters here in the Loehner household. Chili is a super simple comfort food that will warm ya up on the coldest of days! Believe it or not, I received the Red Rold Gift Pack on the very day I was making chili! I actually only had diced tomatoes on hand and was thrilled when I opened the box that was on my door step as it included Red Gold Chili Ready Tomatoes!

Marci’s Go To Chili
Ingredients
1 lb. hamburger (I use 80/20)
1 can chili ready Red Gold Tomatoes
1 can Red Gold Tomato Sauce
1 can Bush’s Chili Ready Red Beans
1 medium size onion (diced)
salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Red Pepper Flakes to taste
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Basil (love Basil with tomatoes!)
** Add a Mild Cheddar Cheese and noodles for a 3-Way!
* Yields enough for 4 adults
Brown hamburger in a deep skillet, season with salt and pepper. Next add onions when hamburger is almost cooked through. Sautee onions for 5 minutes or until tenderized and clear. Pour in Red Gold Tomatoes and Bush’s Baked Beans and heat through. Finally, add a can of Red Gold Tomato sauce, Oregano and Basil. If you like your chili with a bite, add crush Red Pepper Flakes or even a dash of your favorite hot sauce!
If you have chili left over enjoy it over the top of a Baked Potato the next day for lunch…so delish!
