It’s not a secret that I am a nursing Mother. I love to breastfeed for many reasons…
- Breastmilk is invaluable to my babies health

- Creates a bond between Mother and Child (love that I can steal her away from others since I’m the only one with the goods!)

When I nursed Mini Me {whose now almost 4, YIKES!} we had a hard time with her using a bottle. My husband literally bought every type of bottle within a 10 mile radius because she just wasn’t happy with any of the nipples, but Mommies! While that was nice knowing that she knew “Breast Is Best!” at such a young age, Momma needs a break. So around 3 months of age we ended up finding the Mam line of bottles and she was accepting of those. However, with Sissy {now 8 weeks old!} she wasn’t so accepting of the Mam or Playtex bottles. She literally had more milk coming out of her mouth than actually taking in, creating a MESS.
Thankfully Tommee Tippee came to our rescue! The Tommee Tippee nipples are designed much like a Mothers breast. Jason, my hubs!, was so afraid of feeding her because she would literally choke. A week after using the bottles he realized how much easier it was to feed her with the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles. I actually came out from taking a much needed shower one evening and he was feeding the baby all on his own! That made me one happy Momma.
Tommee Tippee also carries a Insulation Bottle Bags that I attached to my diaper bag. Before I leave the home I’ll place some thawed breastmilk into a Tommee Tippee bottle and place into the insulated bag and head out the door. Then when Sissy gets hungry during our shopping adventure or a night out to dinner I’ll reach for the Tommee Tippee Insulated Bag and feed her a bottle. This keeps the battle luke warm instead of room temperature. Although, I think when she’s hungry she’ll eat anything!
. The re-usable Tommee Tippee pads have become my favorite simply because they work and when the breastmilk dries on the pad, it doesn’t get hard like the others I’ve been using. The starter kit can be picked up for around $29.99.
