I decided to have Stanley Steemer clean our dryer vent, we actually purchased a kit about 6 years ago and that is also the last time our vents were cleaned! This was our first time using Stanley Steemer. The two gentleman that came made sure to put up corner blockers to protect the edges and a door cover to prevent the front door from swinging open. It took about an hour and a half but our vents have quite a few “turns” in them so they had a harder time getting the lint out. I didn’t see the buildup but he said there was a few inches all away around the vent. Yuck! When they were finished they made sure everything was cleaned and that the dryer worked properly. After they left I did a load of laundry and boy did that sure help! The clothes were dryer faster. Plus, the kids always leave paper in their pockets which of couse crumble into thousands of bits which gets sucked into the lint catcher but I know it doesn’t catch them all. So now I don’t have to worry about the dryer catching fire! I am definitely going to be getting this done at least once a year, it is well worth the money!
