    Yes…my Aunt and my Grandpa both, sadly my Aunt has passed, but my Grandpa is a survivor of throat cancer, in his 70′s now! :)

    I lost my Aunt Patty of cancer of the pancreas and my good friend Dawn of cancer of the appendix. Thank God other friends & realtives have survived ca.

    I did. My cousin is a 6 year survivor and my aunt just lost her battle a year ago.

    Yes my aunt died of liver cancer. My uncle passed away of pancreatic cancer.

    my 67 year young aunt had one breast removed 2 years ago, my sis has had cancer several times, my dad just had surgery for cancer its his 3rd
    we all have been touched somewhere in our lives by cancer
    its a battle we all must keep fighting to win.

    Yes – my great grandmother and great aunt both died from lung cancer, my grandmother has had colon cancer, and I’ve had cancer.

    My dad died from colon cancer at 30 yrs old, my 22 yr old cousin died from Uterine cancer, my 24 yr old cousin died from ovarian cancer, my 30 yr old cousin died from Breast Cancer, my 40 year old cousin died from Lung Cancer and my 30 year old aunt beat breast cancer. My family has Lynch syndrome which is a genetic condition that causes early onset of uterine, cervical and colon cancer. I need a hysterectomy by 30 years old aka 11 months from now and have to have colonoscopies 1x a year for the rest of my life.

    *twitch* my Mom died of lung cancer about 23 years ago less than 2 weeks after diag…. my Dad just finally gave in & let cancer take him after battling for years against several forms of cancer last Halloween was his last full day… I have taken in a teen who was made homeless by cancer killing his grandmother (there is a relay 4 life dance in her memory tonight…) Do I need to go on? Yes… cancer has affected my life in a VERY big way… & I want it GONE!

    my mother died of cancer a month after i turned six years old. it was so hard… i didnt understand why and how it could have happened. its affected my entire life. my father also died of cancer eight years ago. although i was older, it still an incredibly hard thing to experience. i hope my son never has to go through that.

    I have not had anyone in my immediate family that has been touched by cancer, but my best friend from high school died of breast cancer.
