    I think the best way to spend mother’s day is getting pampered, breakfast in bed, to a day to sit around, read, and not wait on anyone! A supper out with the family would top it off!

    The best mother’s day for me would be to go on a roadtrip, go out to eat, come home to relax and read and see a cute little kitten waiting for me to cuddle! Also, my girls getting along for an entire day would be perfect, lol.

    My perfect Mother’s Day would include spending time with the family doing something outside. We could go to the park, take a walk, or just work around the yard. I don’t need big expensive fancy gifts, I just like to spend time with my husband & kids.

    The best thing I could wake up to on Mothers Day is to have the gift of an all-expenses paid vacation to Disney World so that I could take my daughter who is 7 and has Williams syndrome! I want to take her so bad because with WS we never know how long they will make it and when today will be the last day – I want to wake up to HER being here with me every morning not just Mothers Day! And to be able to give her everything I can in the time we have together 🙂

    hahaha you will laugh and maybe roll your eyes at me, but this gramma of 13grandkids who does 4 days of FREE daycare (sometimes more than 4 days) for her kids… would love a DAY with NO kids to take care of. Yes, a day of no cooking and cleaning and crying and fighting.

    Let me sleep in. Take me out for champagne brunch and keep that champagne flowing. then, let me watch a movie and NOT a cartoon! LOL

She has done and still does so much for me and I just want to show her that I appreciate her and everything she does.     For Mothers Day I am just glad I have my daughter with me each year. This year we will be at her grandparents. My sister will be with us also. We are spending the night there and then get to have a day of fun with family on Mother’s Day 🙂

    In order for my Mother’s Day to “rock”, I would need to be able to sleep in, have all meals prepared for me and no house work for the entire day. It would be nice to have the full day to nothing but fun stuff with my family. This would be my ideal way to spend the day.

    I know that Mother’s Day is over now but I wanted to comment on what “made” my Mother’s Day rock. My oldest son was home for Mother’s Day and he and his wife spent the night with me for the first time in a few years. My youngest son got off work at seven that Sunday morning and surprised me with a visit. We sat on my front porch and enjoyed about an hour of peaceful visiting. The BEST Mother’s Day gift ever!
